Time travel to the past or future

 Personally I would not like to travel in time, because I am a bit fearful, but if I had to decide whether the past or the future, I would prefer the past, because at a certain point it would take me to a reality that I know at least in textbooks, or movies, instead if I traveled to the future I could reach who knows what, a dystopian future or a perfect one, but I think it is a lot of risk. I would like to travel to the 70's but not in Chile, but in Europe, to be able to live the hippie movement in my own flesh, to enjoy the liberation of the bodies and the dogmas of the modern age, and to be able to live with those people. I think that the 70 ́s is the passage from the modern to the postmodern, and I would really like to know how that step was for those who lived it, and I consider it very interesting to capture a historical record of it. 

To be honest, I would not like to stay there, as I am afraid of producing some change in the balance of humanity, and I have seen a lot the movie "back to the future" so I think it would not be a good idea.

Changes to my study programme

Today I am gonna talk about changes in my study programme for my career.

Well, I am a social work student, and although I would like to make changes to my curriculum, I say this from a very humble position, since I like my career anyway. 💞

But, if I had to make changes in social work, it would be that the professional practice would start earlier, and that the courses would not be so theoretical, as first I would like to introduce more contact with people from the first years, since that would help us to know if this career is really for us or not. I would also like to have more psychology to be able to use that knowledge when we are with people. Also, I think that having knowledge on a certain technological level with computers is very important since it is a tool that we use a lot in field work. I also think that it is fundamental to have ethics, since we are professionals who work a lot with vulnerable realities and it is fundamental to work from a base of ethics in order to build better realities. 

Finally, I think that considering everything I have said, social work could improve its curriculum in what has to do with the praxis of working with people, since that is our forte.
